CONNECT WITH THE OCEAN

Turtle & Whale Hub is a Cook Islands-based creative and educational initiative connecting people with the ocean through photography, storytelling, meaningful experiences and shared learning.

Through stories, we find our way back to each other and to the ocean.

Through photographs, stories and observations, we hope to help people discover more about the Cook Islands, its marine life and the moana that connects us — encouraging curiosity, understanding and a deeper appreciation for the ocean around us.

When we listen to the people closest to the ocean, we begin to understand it differently. And when we understand it, we have more reason to care for and protect what we love.

We believe that learning more about the animals and places around us can help us better understand, care for and protect them, while creating opportunities for community involvement, creativity and knowledge-sharing.
